No job too small
If you're a small business, organization or non-profit, you probably don't have the resources to hire a large (or even medium-sized) PR firm to help with your communications needs. But that doesn't mean those communications needs disappear.
That's where I can help.
I specialize in small, communications-related solutions for small organizations. Not sure how to best utilize social media? Let's discuss the pros and cons of different social media platforms. Just need an email to send to all your customers? Let me know what you want to say. Need a bio written or edited for your website? No problem.
Need a large-scale PR plan to generate leads for your multi-national non-profit? I'm probably not the guy for that. But I'm happy to point you in the direction of some firms that can help.
To completely butcher a line from Tommy Boy: I create communications solutions for small businesses, because that's what I am, and that's who I care about.
Feel free to take a look around and please don't hesitate to get in touch if I can help you in any way.
Hi! I'm Philip and I'd love to help you with any of your communications needs.
I have almost 20 years of experience in the communications field and have done a little bit of everything during that time. I've been a writer, an editor, a graphic designer and a spokesperson. I've managed social media accounts for small non-profits and large Fortune 500 companies. I've worked with external vendors on projects that had five-figure budgets and I've done projects on the cheap when the budget didn't have any commas in it (or when there was no budget at all).
I've written speeches for CEOs and university presidents, and talking points that were used in high-level meetings with elected officials. I've been quoted in media outlets around the country and interviewed by television and radio stations around the world. Seriously, you haven't lived until you've done a phone interview with a Japanese television station in the middle of a raging hurricane.
In addition to my full-time gig, I've done freelance work for restaurants and bars, religious organizations and major sporting events. I also seem to work well with others, as evidenced by the fact that I've been asked to do some project work by previous employers on several occasions.
If you have a communications-related project that you need some help with, please don't hesitate to get in touch. I'd be happy to help you if I can. And if I can't, I'm happy to point you towards someone else who can.
